Yesterday, Wednesday, the Secretary-General of the Higher Population Council, Prof. Dr. Issa Al-Masarweh, delivered a lecture at the Royal Police Academy on the elements of the demographic situation in Jordan and its connection to the comprehensive dimensions of national security. This was part of the "Senior Leadership" program for high-ranking officers of the Public Security Directorate, officers from brotherly countries, and employees from government institutions.
The lecture aligns with the Council’s efforts to raise public awareness about recent and anticipated demographic changes in Jordan and their impacts on all sectors, including social, economic, and environmental needs, as well as ways to address related challenges. This initiative comes in implementation of the royal vision calling for communication, coordination, and cooperation between official and civil state institutions
