May 15^th of every year is Family International Day, whereas family is the main pillar of society.

Family International Day provides an opportunity to raise the awareness on family issues, thereby increase the knowledge of the demographic, economic and social processes affecting families. The theme of this year's celebration in this day is "Families and climate change by focusing on Objective (13) of the Sustainable Development Objectives".

This year's celebration focuses on families, family policies and the main purposes of Objective (13) of the Sustainable Development Objectives, specifically the following:

• Second Purpose: Integrate the climate change measures into policies, strategies and planning at the national level.
• Third Purpose: Improve education, raise awareness and develop the human and institutional capacity to mitigate the impact of climate change, resilience and reeducation to such impact and the early warning thereof.
